This year our kindergarteners completed a drawing project in which they used shape stencils to create a picture or design. First, they worked collaboratively, exploring how to use the stencils and experimenting together to make pictures:
The following week they got to work independently on their own drawings, using the same materials but now having some experience with them.
They really enjoyed making these drawings and using the special colored pencils in the art room - and I just love that each child's artwork is so unique!
