The Lambies Paint Jack-O-Lanterns, Lambie-Style

What a super-fun Halloween we had on all counts this year! At the Lambies we had lots of process-art fun making free-form jack-o-lanterns.
I provided the following:

white drawing paper (9x12")
red, orange, yellow, and brown paint (for the stems - but not really always used that way here!)
paint brushes
white glue
mouths and eyes cut out of black construction paper
teeth cut out of white construction paper
and of course - googly eyes!

The lambies went to town with these!

Some chose to create a pumpkin shape:

Some chose to create a variety of pumpkins of all shapes, sizes, and colors:

Some chose to paint their entire paper orange:

And these littlest lambies just loved exploring the colors and tools:

I am in love with each and every one of these paintings! The lambies are truly amazing artists!!

You can definitely tell which ones were done by the super-little lambies (see immediate above), but they have so much charm and the exploration of materials is great!

Hope you all had a very happy Halloween!
