Learning is Messy (or The Day We Played With Shaving Cream + Food Coloring + Toy Cars)

I can't believe I never posted about this day - it was so much messy fun! I bought 6 cans of Barbasol at the dollar store, a package of food coloring, brought a carton of my son's toy cars, and the lambies had THE BEST TIME EVER!! First I set up the table by making swirly roads with drops of color and placing the toy vehicles sporadically in the mix:

Next I let the lambies play however they wanted to and the had so much fun getting messy and using their imaginations to create stories and scenes as well as learning what happens when colors mix together.

I highly recommend this activity for sensory experiences and messy fun!
